On Thursday we played our first (of three) shows at this years by:Larm festival. The location: the awesome venue John Dee in Oslo. We have wanted to play by:Larm for years now, so this was a great occasion for us.

We took the stage shortly after Lydia Laska’s guitarist had been (literally) whipped by the singer a few times, to a nearly full John Dee with an audience in great spirits.

After the words “Who needs the new wave of Bergen bands when you have a tsunami from Oslo?” had been uttered, we played our 30-minute set (see our stunning setlist here) with great response and thankfully no major hiccups. It was a really great night and a fun show (with some surreal conversation both before and after).

After the show we darted around town and caught amongst other bands the brilliant Harry’s Gym, the magical Hanne Hukkelberg and our friends in Cables.

The air in Oslo is on fire, and we already look forward to day 2!
